WHEN DID YOU FIRST BECOME INTERESTED IN PHOTOGRAPHY: Mid 90’s. Skateboarding culture intrigue.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU: A clever basic idea executed well.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE IMAGE THAT YOU'VE TAKEN: It is called SIMPLE GESTURES and is of some smashed eggs, some legs, and some tins of tomato sauce.
WHAT ARE ONE OR TWO OF YOUR FAVORITE MOMENTS FROM PAST SHOOTS: It’s not so much one or two particular moments, but in general there’s a wonderful certain feeling when the concept and idea of the shoot come together, and you get to see it take shape before your eyes. That’s the feeling I am chasing. There was a music video I made, LOSER, by Mob Rich that was very high concept, and needed carefully orchestrated movements and art department logistics to all lineup. After many rehearsals, and making pre-vis videos the real shoot came together beautifully and was a wonderful moment.
