WHERE DID YOU GROW UP: My family moved to the US when I was 4. We lived in Houston, TX until I was 13 and then we moved to Miami, FL. I claim Miami home.
WHEN DID YOU FIRST BECOME INTERESTED IN PHOTOGRAPHY: A few years after college. I was looking for a hobby, and it snowballed into a career.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU: Exploring. Feeling like I’m contributing to the greater human dialog in a small way.
WHAT ARE ONE OR TWO OF YOUR FAVORITE MOMENTS FROM PAST SHOOTS: While shooting in the Atacama Desert for Outlier in 2015, we had driven up a mountain to 17,500 ft to find some crazy satellites and ice formations. 17,500 feet is VERY VERY HIGH. We were all struggling to breathe and simply walking up a slight incline took almost every bit of energy we had. My brain felt like it was running at 60%. I was talking to myself and walking myself through basic body movements. Afterwards, it was cool to reflect on how hard we were pushing to get the shots we needed and to see how photography had become so second nature that walking proved more complicated than composing and making a photograph.
IF YOU WEREN'T A PHOTOGRAPHER WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING INSTEAD: A lot of crying. A lot of existential angst.
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE HISTORICAL FIGURE: Robert Frank is my hero.
WHAT SONG GETS STUCK IN YOUR HEAD MOST OFTEN: Whatever the latest Drake song is.
WHAT IS YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL: Thrilla Gorilla
IF YOU COULD ONLY EAT ONE FOOD FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE: Duh. Pizza.
WHAT IS THE ONE ITEM OF CLOTHING THAT YOU WEAR MOST OFTEN: I’ve been wearing black t-shirts exclusively for the last year. Before that it was white v-necks.

WHAT IS THE STRANGEST THING IN YOUR REFRIGERATOR: It’s not strange, but I’m most attached to my La Croix Pomplemousse cans. Love that shit.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO UNWIND AFTER A BUSY DAY: Go for a bike ride.
