Nyasia Rudolph

WHERE DID YOU GROW UP: I grew up in Metro Atlanta. Gwinnett County, Ga

WHEN DID YOU FIRST BECOME INTERESTED IN FASHION: I first became interested in fashion in high school when I went to FIT’s Summer Live Program my junior year. Before then, I knew I liked fashion, and I liked to shop but I never thought I could make a career out of it.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LOOK THAT YOU’VE CREATED: Ahhhhh, I’d have to say my black and white achromatic look I styled for NYLON Germany! I mixed different black and white patterns together and it came together perfectly! I topped it off with thigh-high, clear Chanel boots and it was just *chef’s kiss*

WHERE DO YOU DRAW INSPIRATION FOR YOUR WARDROBE STYLE? I actually have a few different inspirations. I’d say Fran Fine from The Nanny, Solange Knowles, my explore page on Instagram, my boyfriend’s closet, and the endless magazines I read.

WHAT SONG GETS STUCK IN YOUR HEAD MOST OFTEN: Cater 2 U by Destiny’s Child. When that song comes on I am the Beyonce, the Kelly, and the Michelle! It’s a solo act, and I don’t need any help singing it.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ERA OF FASHION: That’s easy the 90’s. The hair, the colors, the silhouettes, and the CULTURE!

WHAT IS THE ONE ITEM OF CLOTHING THAT YOU WEAR MOST OFTEN: Crop tops and jeans are basically my uniform.

WHAT WOULD THE TITLE OF YOUR AUTOBIOGRAPHY BE: Love & Styling: The Misadventures of Nyasia Rudolph

WHAT IS THE HARDEST THING YOU'VE EVER DONE: Moving to NY right after college and breaking into the fashion industry with no connections or experience.

WHEN'S THE LAST TIME YOU LAUGHED SO HARD IT HURT: Yesterday! My boyfriend and I are always joking around, he referenced an inside joke that we have, and I hollered!

WHAT IS YOUR SECRET TALENT: Cartoon graphics. I have a degree in graphic design, and I used to love designing cartoons in school. WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO DANCE MOVE: A nice little two step lol I don’t do too much.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO UNWIND AFTER A BUSY DAY: Light candles, a glass of wine and snuggle on the couch with good music playing

WHAT ITEM OF CLOTHING DO YOU WEAR TO FEEL YOUR BEST? HEELS! If I want to step and feel powerful and feminine, I’m throwing on my heels.
