As the daughter of two sculptors, Sophie Ono grew up in a world of wondrous creative expression. Born in Italy to a Senegalese father and a Japanese mother, Sophie’s appreciation for beauty in all its forms eventually led her to a career as a NYC makeup artist. Sophie also does light hair.

After arriving in the fashion metropolis, Sophie immersed herself in collaborating with photographers including Wayne Maser, Kirk Edwards and Filippo Del Vita. Additionally, she worked with cosmetic brands such as Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and Bite Beauty where she helped develop limited edition lipsticks that launched at Sephora. Sophie is recognized in the industry for her capability to enhance a woman’s natural beauty as well as creating more dramatic effects.
